PostSubject: Chief Logan   Mon Apr 27, 2009 10:31 pm

I have studied the American Indian for many years and my favorite was A Mingo Chief called Logan whose real name was Talguyeto. The Mingo tribe was a loose confederacy consisting a Indians from all the tribe in the Ohio Valley. Except for a spat known as Logans War; a result of Logans entire family being killed by a man by the name of Greathouse, he was very friendly toward whites. He was killed on orders from "hair buyer" Hamilton when, after being denied rum in Detroit, left that place and headed back to the Ohio Country. Hamilton sent two Shawnee runners after him with orders to tomahawk him. They did.
