| As we all know MICHAEL JACKSON died today. At first, I was like “Okay, another over-strung Hollywood-full-of-himself-pervert got his come-uppences tonight.” But yet another part of me went… “WOW!!!! MICHEAL JACKSON is dead!!! This is someone I grew up with…this is someone I dance to in “dance class” in 8th grade! This is someone I watched videos of throughout the 80s. I grew up with this man!!” As DISTRUBED and WACKO as Michael was, HE was INDEED talented and we’ll NEVER see another one like him. I can’t deny, I’m bummed by his death.
Enterainers that are worth remembering... FRED ASTAIRE ELIVS And now MICHAEL JACKSON

| I hated to hear this. I know the man was accused of terrible things. But he still had a lot of talent one of the best dancers I have ever seen. My gosh I remember him at age 10 I'm only 5 years older than him.it was hard to believe he was even 50. | |

| I was at work when I heard the news. First it was "Oh, Michael Jackson is in the hospital again. What did his nose fall off." Then 10 minutes later, a friend called and said he died. I didn't realized how shocked I would be. I went online and we turned the TV on and the news was still saying he was alive, but only in a coma. TMZ was the ONLY source that said he was dead and of course I didn't consider TMZ to be reliable, but those darn paparazzis were right. An hour later the LA Times confirmed it.
I grew up with Jackson in his prime. His videos were always on MTV and he was talk of the town at school. He was an incredible dancer...Heck, even Michael Flatley was influenced by him.

| My youngest daughter was a big big Michael Jackson fan. She would listen to his music on Mtv etc. for hours especially Thriller I think it must've been the 1980s | |

Linda, a person may be able to sing like a bird but it is what that person in that counts. Russ
